- Who is your favourite Sahaba & why?

Hmmm how do you chose? I love Khadija RA for her character, I love how she was a successful business woman in mans world. I love Summayah RA for her courage and bravery. I love Umar RA for his fighting spirit and how he used to get jealous of Abu Bakr RA because he was pious which leads me onto Abu Bakr RA, how can one compare to such a man, our beloved prophet (pbuh)'s best friend. I love Faatimah RA for how much she loved her father and how much of an brilliant daughter she was, I wish I could be a fraction of how she was. I love Aisha RA & her fiestyness, I love how she taught the ummah so much. I love all the sahaba's for their amazingness in their own unique way and wish to be amongst them in Jannah one day iA (= May Allah be pleased with them all!

- Who is your biggest inspiration & why?

My biggest inspiration =S after the prophet pbuh I'd have to say my nani. She is the most amazing person in the entire world and I love her to bits. She has been through so much in her life and I've not once heard her complain to anyone or to Allah. She is an inspiration to me. Such a strong woman mashaAllah! - What do you feel is one of your weaknesses?

My weakness is getting worked up over things too easily, I think it's just because I'm very passionate =S I dunno maybe I'm making excuses. I do get upset over things really quickly, sometimes I think I'm too emotional.

- What are your favourite books? (they don't all have to be Islamic)

-The Sealed Nectar (still only 3/4 of the way through it, been reading it for like 3 years now) but its a very good book.
- From my sisters lips by Naima Roberts, learnt a lot from that book, it's interesting & informative too.

-Does my head look big in this (read it during school years a go)

-I read all the harry potter books, they're all in pristine condition in my cupboard, last three are 1st edition so I'm hoping to make some money out of them in the future xD

- Who is your favourite Sahaba & why?

- Khadija (ra).  As the first convert, she embodied everything I strive for in my own life.  She was a woman of intense faith, a faithful companion and incredible wife to our beloved Prophet (pbuh), successful in her business ventures and respected by all who knew her.  She was the first person to understand and accept the gift that Allah had bestowed upon the Messenger (pbuh).  I hope to always be that attuned and obedient to the will of Allah, inshAllah.

- Who is your biggest inspiration & why?

Other than our Prophet (pbuh) of course and his wife Khadijah (ra) for the reasons stated above, I would have to say it's a toss up between my Mother and my youngest Brother.  Both have gone through some extreme trials in their lives (although my Mothers have ended in this life, may Allah give her mercy) and have managed to conquer all seemingly insurmountable obstacles with strength and poise that never ceases to amaze me.

- What's your favourite food?

Watermelon

"And if the music stops

...There's only the sound of the rain

All the hope and glory,

We will pay the price,

But we will not count the cost"

I ran to the grandad to see if he was ok, lucky he was hurt a little on his knee, he was out of breath and he was struggling to get up but thank god! There was a lampost near that he could hold on to and I held him the other side to pick him up. I walked him to a nearby bench and I asked again if he's ok, he replied and she. I'm ok my knees hurting and so is my hand I asked him if he wanted some water that I had in my back untouched, he replied and said if I could it would be great. I asked him if he was ok to go home etc. As I got up to go he put his hands on my head and he gave me soo many blessing Alhumdlilah! I was sooo happy to gain these blessing, it felt I had achieved a lot.

Ans : Harry Potter Series, Twilight Series, Tess By Thomas Hardy, Sydney Sheldon's novels , too many to name =) x

- What do you love about Islam/ Whats the best thing about being a Muslimah?

Ans : The Golden Rule is implicitly expressed in some verses of Qur'an, but is explicitly declared in the sayings of Hazrat Muhammad
(P.B.U.H). as a muslim, the religion itself has simplified my life. the 5 pillars and what is expected from me from Allah is so basic and so easy. i dont worry myself about outside life. satan forever tempts and pulls us and gives us doubts and fears, but its easier to turn away. the fard prayers make one remember throughout the day what one's life is about. the Qur'an is so specific about what is right, what is wrong and what you have to do just to make it through life, alh.the fact that worshipping Allah is constant is really wonderful for me, i have somewhere to turn and i love the masjid also. so so very much. if i could, i would spend most of my time there.

- What are your favourite quotes?

Ans : As we venture in our different life journeys, we are being inspired by how life can be very beautiful despite of the trials it may bring. And due to these overwhelming feelings we have, many of us are being encouraged to compose their own quotes they might share to everyone as to express how they feel. We have known composers recorded over history and time such as Plato, Shakespeare, Anonymous, Roosevelt and many more. Below are some quotes I have collected from close friends whom were inspired by their own paths.

What makes life beautiful is because no matter how countless the ups and downs are, still we can manage to smile at the end of the day.

I am totally undecided on how I am going to live my life. But a thing is for sure: it is so full of mysteries and it is God's greatest gift to me. We must live it well, live it beautifully, as God wants us to be.Life is certainly beautiful because of the people who surrounds us, especially those who never fails to give us their never ending love and support; even in this so complicated world they still accepts us for who and what we are.

Love you All ♥ ♥ x

Sunnie will be posting recipes on the facebook fan page which I will then post on the blog for future reference (=
